In the short film Caroline, the mother has to attend an interview and leaves Caroline and the 2 kids in her locked car. The kids in the car become hot and sweaty because it is very hot outside and there is no air conditioning. Caroline has the keys of the car but doesn't know what to do with them. After being left in the car, the kids became hot and worried about what was happening. Caroline tried calming them down by talking about the kids show PJ Masks. In this scene, there was a large use of handheld close-up shots that was meant to show the panic of the kids because of the shakiness of the camera. The directors of the film used this camera technique to demonstrate what was going through of the kids trapped in the car. The technique created a sense of unease because seeing children in danger and almost close to death and is something that can affect an audience to have a certain feeling towards the scene, most likely being disgusted and scared.
